Bricasti M7 features an incredibly intuitive interface for quickly and easily dialing in the perfect reverb setting for any track. Use the input knob and level meters to set the level of the incoming signal. Scroll through over 200 presets for halls, plates, rooms, chambers, and everything from general ambience to specific spaces using the endless rotary encoder and high visibility display. Tweak your heart out and adjust parameters like reverb time, room size, pre delay, diffusion, density, modulation, frequency response and mix using the cursor keys and adjust knob. Save your most-used presets using the four conveniently located “favorite” keys on the front of the unit. Say goodbye to jumping back and forth between the console and your gear rack. Speed up your workflow even more with an optional M10 remote console and control your M7 directly from your mix position.

Let me just say This reverb unit really speaks for itself, And you still want know just how special it is until you get one. But Let me start by saying absolutely NO PLUG-IN comes close to the sound quality of the Bricasti. And trust me I have all the plugins. I also “HAD” the Lexicon PCM 92 hardware and it’s no where close to the sound quality of the Bricasti.
I use the Bricasti on the auxiliaries on my recording console and it just does something really special to any sound or instrument I put it on. whether drums, guitars, or vocals. This is one of those pieces that has quickly become a staple in all the studios in Nashville.

Well the pundits didn't lie. It's a remarkable sounding device. The M7 Link software to operate it within a DAW is a real time saver when learning it's feature set. Very impressed with the sound and available presets.

I found the Bricasti M7 to be astonishing. It lives up to the hype about it and more. The visceral sense of place is uncanny. One surprising thing I am finding very useful is to use just a little touch of plate on an overdub track. It gives the track a noticeable presence without taking up anymore space or degrading the original sound.

Best reverb on the market!

At first, I was a bit skeptical with the lack of presence this reverb has versus the more lush, effect-like sounds of lexicon, but then I applied this wonderful device to a mixing context....and this changed.
See, most reverbs simply serve as extensions to a sound, but then you have the Bricasti..which not only glues to the source-sample seamlessly, but also effortlessly glues entire mixes together with smooth connection of tails that dissolve into nothing, avoiding the abrupt conclusions many software reverbs entail.
Indeed, this reverb will save you immense amounts of time getting your mixes/compositions to sound clean and realistically acoustic, and I will undoubtedly recommend this unit to anyone looking to take their music work seriously! -
Most amazing reverb I've ever heard and used! I also acquired Exponential Audio's M7 Control software that allows me to control all of the Bricasti's parameters in Pro Tools and other daw's via midi!

Whether the location served as Ed Wood's movie set, Slayer's practice space or the home to LA's finest exotic dancers, something interesting has always been going down at 5632 Santa Monica Blvd.
That continues to remain true today, as recording studio owner Dave Trumfio recently took over the space and has built out an extremely unique complex. Describe Red Lion Audio for us. What's the layout like?
Red Lion Audio is located in a quiet complex in Edgewood, Florida. The studio is over 1200 sq ft. and divided into a lounge room, control room and live room. The control room is equipped with the API The Box 2 Console, a Burl Audio B80 Mothership, Barefoot Sound MM27 monitors and loads of other outboard gear. We've got gear from Neve, Chandler Limited, SSL, Retro Instruments, Looptrotter, etc.The Live Room is a 600 sq ft. space with a 12’ ceiling and is fully equipped with various amps and a big selection of drums. In terms of amps, we have Marshalls, Orange, Ampeg, Soladano, Divided by 13, Fender, Metropoulos, Bogner and more. For drums, we have a Yamaha Recording Custom, DW Collector, Q Drums and A&F drums.
How would you describe your studio workflow?
Each piece of gear we select is handpicked to our tastes and everything is normalized in our patch bay to save time during mixing and tracking and achieve the best quality sound in our production.
I love having the API preamps, the option of loading up the 500 Series slots and the monitoring section. It always gives that punchy sound during mixing and, of course, the price.What do you like most about working on that desk?
The way I can mix with two hands without having to use a mouse. I can shape the sound how I want it much faster than using outboard gear and not need to worry about latency issues. I can also use my Bricasti Design M7 reverb with my aux send and return and that's all I need!What's an essential piece of gear to your process and why?
Besides the API The Box 2 console, I would say the Smart Research C1LA Compressor, API 2500, SSL Fusion and Kush Audio Clariphonic are essential pieces of gear that I always use during my mixdown.What are your go-to microphones for tracking?
For vocals, I like the Upton 251 for modern sounding vocals and Neumann U87 for classic rock vocals. On guitar, I usually use a Royer Labs R-121 and Beyerdynamic M 160. If we're talking drums, a pair of Coles 4038 for overheads and a pair of AEA R84A for room mics.What was your most recent gear purchase? How has it changed what's going on at Red Lion Audio?
I just got a Burl Audio B80 Mothership BMB4 filled with BAD4M, BDA4M, BAD8 and BDA8 cards. This gives me the best audio quality that you can ever have.
I like to sidechain the guitar with vocals, bass with kick drums, harmonies with main vocals, and a lot of harmonic distortion outboard gear.What's an album that really changed the way you look at music? What about the record stands out to you?
Production-wise, the Beatles' Revolver because they were making music way ahead of their time. Sound-wise, Muse's The 2nd Law. That is the sound of a perfect mix to me.Who are some of your favorite engineers and producers?
Chris Lord-Alge, George Martin and my friend Sam Guaiana. He is killing it in the mixing game.What's the greatest piece of advice you've received about working in the recording studio?
Always record guitars using a DI and always use an analyzed spectrum on your mix buss.
