Using the newly developed technology of the highly praised VMA introduced in 2003, Dirk Brauner has created a new sound for his Phantom series mics and released the Phantom V variable pattern FET microphone. The Phantom V features a sound tailored for voice-over or big vocals, without losing the quiet, pristine, sonic detail and sound quality that is the mainstay of Brauner microphones.  Other features include a -10dB pad switch on the microphone, and a switchable pattern: Omni, Cardioid, and Figure of Eight.
