Blue Sky Sat 6.5 EXR - Single

The SAT 6.5 EXR from Blue Sky International is a reliable, high-performance two-way active monitor speaker with a 6.5" hemispherical woofer and a 1" dual concentric diaphragm tweeter that has a built-in waveguide for excellent off-axis response. The speaker delivers clear, accurate sound with a low noise floor and an adjustable gain range. A pair of custom-designed 100W amplifiers with optimized electronic crossover provide power to the speaker to give it a strong, distortion-free performance.

The monitor has two completely independent balanced XLR inputs. The main input is for 80Hz bass-managed operation, which provides full compatibility with Blue Sky subwoofers. The main input features an 80Hz high-pass network with a phase correction filter. When this is used, the monitor has characteristics of a sealed monitor, even though it is ported. The second input is designed for applications when subwoofer use is impractical, and can also be used for quick comparison between bass-managed and extended range modes.
