The EF-P3 also includes a Direct Mute Footswitch for Vibrato mode and true noiseless Bypass, ensuring your signal doesn’t click or pop while engaging or disengaging the pedal.

Beetronics FX Wannabee Beelateral Buzz Overdrive

One of the best pedals of 2024 is the Wannabee Belateral Buzz Overdrive Pedal by Beetronics, which combines two beloved overdrive circuits in a unique way. You'll find Beetronics' take on the Bluesbreaker on the left, while the right side features a Klon-inspired offering. Each circuit has a dedicated footswitch and controls, plus a unique routing system based around a three-way switch. When the switch is to the left, the Klon circuit flows into the Bluesbreaker. When it's to the right, the Bluesbreaker flows into the Klon. In the middle, both circuits run in parallel for some tasty results.

Poly Effects Verbs Reverb Pedal

While this pedal technically came out in December of 2023, it’s been a favorite at Vintage King since its release and is still getting plenty of use on our pedalboards this year. The Poly Effects Verbs pedal comes loaded with 48 presets to transport your tone to unique spaces.

In addition to real-life spaces like the Pool Of The Blackstar, Capricornia Caves, and Santa Lucia Basilica, Verbs also includes captures of vintage reverbs such as EMT140 plates, classic analog springs, 480L digital reverbs, and more.

Unlike most pedals, Verbs doesn’t include any knobs. Instead, all of the settings are controlled via sliders using the intuitive touchscreen interface.

Erica Synths NightVerb Reverb Desktop Unit/Pedal

NightVerb is right at home on any pedalboard, but it’s not a stompbox in the traditional sense of the word.

Designed by the visionaries at Erica Synths, NightVerb is a compact stereo desktop reverb powered by a unique algorithm developed by 112db. All of NightVerb’s parameters are controllable via MIDI CC, enabling you to adjust multiple parameters simultaneously for dynamic, evolving soundscapes.

Perfect for synths, drums, and of course, guitars, NightVerb uses extremely long decay tails to achieve truly musical ambience. Advanced controls for Shape, Spin, Width, and more allow you to dial in a wide range of sounds to suit any source.

Strymon BigSky MX Reverb Pedal

Strymon’s BigSky reverb pedal quickly became a pedalboard staple when it was released in 2014, but a lot has changed over the last decade. The new BigSky MX builds on the success of the original with significantly more processing power, seven all-new reverb algorithms, and advanced routing options.

Choose from 12 versatile reverbs, including the brand-new Impulse and Chamber algorithms, and the updated Spring, Plate, Hall, Room, and Shimmer settings. For the first time, BigSky MX allows you to use two reverbs at once with Serial, Parallel, or Split audio routing, opening up a whole new world of tonal possibilities to explore.

KMA Machines ENDGAME Duality Calibrator Pedal

Perhaps the most unique release on our list of the best pedals of 2024, the KMA Machines ENDGAME is the cherry on top of any pedalboard. Specially designed for the end of your signal chain, ENDGAME is the final boss of guitar pedals.

Sweeten your sound using the foot-switchable stereo FX loop or KMA’s proprietary True Double-Tracker doubler with variable width controls. Fully transform your tone using DUAL IR cab simulation, which offers six classic cabs to choose from. Using the onboard room simulator, you can add natural-sounding reverb to your whole signal chain. There are plenty of versatile routing options, including an Aux input with Bluetooth and 3.5 mm connectivity, which make it easy to integrate backing tracks and other sources from consumer playback devices.

No matter what style or genre of music you play, ENDGAME has something to improve your sound or streamline your performance.

Warm Audio RingerBringer Ring Modulator Pedal

Back in 2018, Moog announced they would be discontinuing their beloved Moogerfooger pedal lineup, including the MF-102 Ring Modular. Warm Audio picked up the ring mod ball and ran with it in 2024 as the brand debuted the RingerBringer. Echoing the shape and size of its inspiration, the RingerBringer provides a broad spectrum of sonic possibilities with controls for LFO, MOD, Frequency, and RATE. Whether you're aiming for smooth tremolo vibes, sweeping sounds, or otherworldly alien insanity, this pedal delivers it all.

Kemper Profiler Player Amp, Cab, & Effects Sim Pedal

Kemper is a leader in amp, cab, and effects simulation, with its renowned PROFILER lineup widely used in touring rigs and studios worldwide. Now, this technology has been distilled down to the pedal form factor. The PROFILER Player provides a vast range of amp tones, FX settings, IR loading, and fast switching capabilities, all controllable via the pedal and Rig Manager app. The pedal features an extensive collection of amp sounds for various genres, with a massive effects lineup including delays, overdrives, wah-wahs, EQs, reverbs, and more. You can store up to 50 custom Rigs in 10 banks of five on the pedal, which has colored LEDs to indicate the active bank.

Collision Devices Crushturnal Sample Reducer/Delay/Reverb Pedal

Clocking glitches are usually the last thing an audio engineer wants to deal with in the studio, but Collision Devices has transformed this concept into an exceptional pedal. The Crushturnal is ideal for producing unique glitchy, bit-crushing sounds from guitars, synths, and other instruments. It features three distinct sections—Sequencer, Digital Repeater, and Ambiance—that let you shape the rate, step size, and mode of your sequences, and then apply effects to craft deeply immersive soundscapes.

Benson Amps Germanium Preamp Pedal

Benson's flagship pedal, the Preamp, has received a touch of Germanium magic. The Portland, Oregon-based brand has replaced the pedal's first FET transistor with a germanium stage (borrowed from the Germanium Boost), and now we have the Germanium Preamp. How does it compare to its predecessor? Guitarists can expect richer, clearer tones with slightly lower gain, perfect for getting your amp right to the edge of breakup and beyond.

JHS Hard Drive Distortion Pedal

It's rare to see a new distortion pedal that doesn't borrow from classic topologies, but the JHS crew has managed to innovate with the Hard Drive. Rather than drawing from traditional pedal designs, they've found sonic inspiration in the post-grunge alternative rock movement. Whether aiming for tones reminiscent of Weezer or Rage Against The Machine, the Hard Drive offers a wide range of distortion sounds to explore. The pedal features cascaded gain stages followed by a hard limiting circuit, along with a sweepable midrange and Baxandall bass and treble controls.
