Maag Audio's iconic EQ4, recognized by its unmistakable blue aesthetic and six fixed-width frequency bands, is getting a facelift. The brand is introducing a sleek variant of the 500 Series module, featuring a stately black faceplate. Even more exciting, the initial 200 units will be personally signed by the creator, Cliff Maag.

If you're unfamiliar with Maag's EQ4, you've been missing out. The EQ features the legendary AIR Band that dates back to the early 90s and allows users to boost the high end to incredible lengths (2.5, 5, 10, 20, 40 kHz). The five frequency bands in the main section of the EQ4 are sub or 10 Hz, 40 Hz, 160 Hz, 650 Hz, and the 2.5 kHz shelf EQ, each of which have a boost/cut range of +15 dB and -4.5 dB.
