Klayton
If you've been following along in our modular synth series, you know we've teamed up with multi-faceted recording artist Klayton (Celldweller) for a number of synthesizer demo videos. Klayton is now back with two fantastic new demos for the 4ms Dual Looping Delay and Intellijel Rainmaker Cyclonix. The Dual Looping Delay from 4ms is a crystal-clear digital delay that is modeled after classics like the Lexicon PCM42, which records and plays continuously until an infinite repeat option is selected. Delays and loops are created by regeneration, which allows for synthesists to have a much more organic approach to their music's flow. This module has been designed to integrate seamlessly with modular timebase and sequencing devices from 4ms like the Quad Clock Distributor.
Intellijel's Rainmaker Cyclonix is a eurorack-format module that offers up stereo rhythmic delay and stereo comb resonator effects. The delay portion of the module has 16 taps, each with its own resonant 2nd-order filter and granular pitch shifter. These filters have independently adjustable resonance and cutoff frequency, and can be set to either lowpass, bandpass, highpass or bypass operation.
