Heritage Audio i73 PRO Series Audio Interfaces, including the i73 PRO Edge, i73 PRO2, and i73 PRO One.

Just ahead of the 2024 NAMM Show, Heritage Audio announced the new i73 PRO Series, the world’s first USB-C audio interfaces with built-in Class A 73-style preamps. Equipped with the same transformer-balanced circuitry as the brand’s best-selling 73-style preamps, the new i73 PRO EDGE, i73 PRO 2, and i73 PRO One audio interfaces recreate the classic mojo and vibe of analog recording, right from your desktop.

Heritage Audio i73 PRO Series Audio Interfaces

Heritage Audio’s new i73 PRO Series audio interfaces were designed from the ground up to recreate the full analog recording experience. At their core, of course, is the classic 73-style preamp circuit. Equipped with a versatile three-way input, simply toggle between the settings to track vocals through the hearty mic preamp, an electric guitar or bass through the dynamic JFET DI, or keyboards and synths through the clean line inputs.

In addition to Class A transformer-coupled preamps inspired by the sound of countless classic hits, i73 PRO Series audio interfaces also feature a low latency monitoring mixing console. The dedicated speaker and headphone outputs each have their own fully configurable mix within the Heritage Audio MIXER software.

Speaking of Heritage Audio’s MIXER, it can also be used to process your tracks in real time with the brand’s ever-growing collection of analog-modeled DSP plug-ins. Plus, you can simultaneously record both DRY and WET to your DAW, or even insert third-party native plugins via the MIXER’s Aux channels.

Each i73 PRO Series also comes bundled with six of Heritage Audio's new analog-modeled plug-ins—more on that later.

Now that we’ve covered what’s under the hood of the Heritage Audio i73 PRO Series audio interfaces, let’s take a closer look at the i73 PRO EDGE, i73 PRO 2, and i73 PRO One.
