Apogee has become aware of an issue that results in Duet 2's display remaining fixed on the purple "A" and the unit not being recognized by the Mac. We are currently working with Apple to resolve this issue.

The software and firmware included with this release works around the issue. Once new firmware has been installed, Duet 2's sample rate range is limited to 44.1-96kHz.

If you are experiencing the recognition issue described above, please update to the software and firmware provided with this release. If you are not experiencing the issue, install the Duet 2 October 2011 Release (if you haven't done so already).
