The Black Box Analog Design HG-Q is a stereo analog EQ that blends classic tube tone with modern digital control. Featuring six independent bands with separate boost and cut circuits per band, HQ-Q allows for complex EQ curves that are impossible with standard designs. Integrated tube saturation stages within the boost circuits add harmonic richness, density, and analog character at specific frequencies rather than across the entire signal.

2025 was a big year for Barefoot. The iconic studio monitor brand introduced not one, not two, but three new speakers to the popular Footprint Series over the last few months; all of which were met with high praise.
Up first is the Footprint03C, which was originally conceived as a center channel version of the best-selling Footprint03, to be used for immersive audio configurations. However, it’s now widely adopted as a go-to stereo solution.
In October, Barefoot released the new Footprint01 Gen2 and Footprint02 Gen2 studio monitors, which introduce a number of improvements over the original design, including a new tri-amplified architecture, new drivers, advanced DSP with SPOC technology, and a refined cabinet design.

IK Multimedia also dropped a trio of new studio monitors this year, including the iLoud Precision MTM MKII, iLoud Precision 6 MKII, and iLoud Precision 5 MKII.
