New & Current Vintage King Card Holders
Building off the groundwork he laid at Strymon, engineer Terry Burton is now creating next-level 500 Series and effects pedals at Meris. The brand's two latest releases, the Ottobit Jr. and Mercury7, are pedal versions of the brand's popular 500 Series modules, the vintage arcade-themed Ottobit and Mercury7 reverb unit.
Meris Ottobit Jr. Pedal
What happens when you bring together a guitar pedal form, synth-like controls and a 500 Series-based concept? You get the Ottobit Jr.! This pedal is a direct throwback to the cacophony of a 1980s arcade with all the bleeps and bloops your heart can handle. The Ottobit Jr. is a clean bit crusher, switchable from 1 to 24 bits, that features a selectable sample rate, which covers the range from 48 Hz to 48 kHz. It also includes a low-pass filter that can help you recreate vintage synth sounds and a six-step sequencer with tap tempo.
Meris Mercury7 Reverb Pedal
Another brilliant pedal from Meris, the Mercury7 is reverb at its spaciest. Inspired by the 1982 Bladerunner film soundtrack, this thing will launch your guitar, bass and synth into the stratosphere with an extensive modulation matrix and intra-tank pitch regen. The higher headroom path, in particular, makes it perfect for utilizing with synthesizers, as it allows players to avoid clipping and keep their sound clear of noise.
