For over 20 years, Antelope Audio has been one of the foremost purveyors of mastering grade clocks, converters, mic pres, audio interfaces and more. At AES 2015, the company has rolled out three new products including the Orion Studio, Orion 32+ and Isochrone 10MX Atomic Master Clock.
Bringing together Antelope Audio's Zen Studio and Orion into a new 1U rack unit, the Orion Studio interface offers incredible sound, more I/O options and extremely low latency. Packed with Thunderbolt and USB connectivity, 12 analog ins/20 analog outs and 2 stereo monitor outs, this an exceptional entry into the studio interface format.
After releasing the original Orion32 over three years ago, Antelope Audio decided the next step for the 32-channel interface involved adding Thunderbolt technology to the unit. In 2015, the brand has succeeded with extremely low latency without defeating Power Management in the Mac OS, keeping fan noise low on a MacBook Pro under recording situations.
Antelope Audio's legacy revolves around their incredible clocking devices and the 10MX Rubidium Atomic Clock continues their strong tradition. The 1U rack space unit features more on-board 10MHz outputs, a new oscillator, an updated power supply and can now output standard word clock rates up to a remarkable 768KHz.
