The original Footprint speaker utilized Barefoot Sound signatures like Dual-Force Technology and the Dual Ring Radiator Tweeter. But for the Footprint03, the team decided it was time to push the speaker's design, performance, and quality further than ever. The result is a departure from Barefoot Sound's sealed cabinet design in favor of a ported speaker for extended low-end response and minimal self-noise. Additionally, all three aluminum speaker cones sport a more powerful magnet and motor system for greater output, less compression, and a spacious soundstage.

TWEETER

The 1" ring radiator tweeter design boasts a more powerful magnet and motor system, resulting in longer excursion capabilities, increased volume output, and reduced compression for a truly dynamic and captivating audio performance. To ensure consistent peak performance, an improved heat-sink system has been integrated, effectively regulating operating temperatures during extended use. Additionally, the addition of more copper shorting rings around the voice coil serves to eliminate distortion, delivering a pristine and accurate sound reproduction. WOOFER

AMPLIFIERS

The Footprint03 features three Class D amplifier modules, each dedicated to a specific driver.
