The BAE 1073DMPS is a stereo version of the best-selling BAE 1073DMP microphone preamp and DI. Inspired by the legendary Neve 1073 equalizer, the BAE 1073DMPS is equipped with Carnhill input transformers, Cinemag DI transformers and a hand-wired Class A design for unparalleled depth and richness. And with stereo microphone and hi-Z instrument inputs, the BAE 1073DMPS is perfect for capturing any performance in the studio or on the stage.
Just like the original Neve 1073 and 1084 designs, the BAE 1073DMPS is equipped with Carnhill (St Ives) transformers to deliver classic analog sound. Enable phantom power using the 48V button to capture mono or stereo recordings with your favorite condenser microphones.
Each BAE 1073DMPS module is also outfitted with Cinemag DI transformers, also known as the ‘Bootsy Collins’ mod, making them perfect for those who like to sing and play guitar simultaneously. And with two DI thru outputs per channel, the BAE 1073DMPS is the ultimate re-amping box.
The BAE 1073DMPS features rugged microphone input and output connectors, as well as a DI input and two DI ‘thru’ outputs. Press the 48 V button to enable phantom power for condenser microphone recordings, or press the phase reverse switch to invert the polarity of your signal. Dial in the perfect gain stage using silky-smooth Elma rotary switches for input and output gain.
With a built-in power supply, and a compact, lightweight design, the BAE 1073DMPS is portable enough to take to any recording session. The BAE 1073DMPS’s rugged steel chassis makes it the perfect touring companion for capturing studio-quality sound on the road.
