With a lower price tag than other desktops, the S3 will fit easily into studios of all shapes and sizes, while still offering maximum power, efficient controls and an ergonomic set-up.
Built by the makers of some of the world’s best audio software, the Pro Tool | S3 allows users to deeply immerse themselves in the world of EUCON-enabled Avid applications and programs from other companies. The console gives users the ability to seamlessly flow through the recording and mixing process with easy transitions from tracking, recalling snapshots, muting tracks, editing plug-ins and so much more.
In the tradition of other Avid desks, the S3 offers unbelievable DAW integration and intuitive controls that helps perfect your studio’s workflow. The console features 16 channel strips with motorized faders, 32 touch-sensitive rotary encoders and impeccably crisp OLED displays that make adjustments that much easier. As for connectivity, the S3 offers 2 XLR mic/line inputs, 2 XLR outputs, 2 TRS line inputs, 2 TRS line outputs and a headphone output.
Thanks to EUCON technology, mixing via Pro Tools, Cubase, Logic Pro and other DAWS, is extremely simple and customizable. You can mix the way that you want to mix by creating up to 12 different custom mixer layouts and easily recall them at any time. Changing the way you move from recording and mixing different instruments, it’s now possible to have specific mixer settings for a specific use and have it preset for your disposal.
