AVID PRO TOOLS DIGILINK I/O LICENSE

NOTE: The Avid Pro Tools DigiLink I/O License allows you to use your current audio interfaces with Pro Tools | Ultimate and Pro Tools | HD 12.6 and later.

Anyone can use Avid and non-Avid DigiLink-enabled audio interfaces with a new Pro Tools | HDX or HD Native system and still get the same high I/O channel count capabilities offered by our Pro Tools | HD Series interfaces. Order a new Pro Tools | HDX or HD Native system to use with your active non-Avid interface, with the same high I/O channel count capabilities currently offered by the Pro Tools | HD Series interfaces by using any third-party DigiLink-enabled audio interface or plug-ins with the Avid Pro Tools Digilink I/O License!

With this Avid Pro Tools license, you can work with up to 192 audio I/O channels with a three card Pro Tools | HDX system (64 I/O channels per card), or up to 64 I/O channels with Pro Tools | HD Native. This DigiLink license effectively doubles the maximum I/O available for all non-Avid interfaces in your system or plug-ins, compared with using Core Audio or ASIO.

ALREADY HAVE PRO TOOLS | HDX OR HD NATIVE?

If you have or were an existing customer that has been on an active Upgrade and Support Plan for Pro Tools | HD on 9/28/16, we’ve got great news for you! Avid deposited a DigiLink I/O License for no charge in your Avid Account to download and use. All Avid Pro Tools | HD Series interfaces now also come with this software license, so no need to purchase separately if you are mixing Avid and non-Avid interfaces together. In addition, if you don’t have an active upgrade plan, Avid is also including the license with all new Pro Tools | Ultimate Upgrade Reinstatement Plan purchases or the Avid Perpetual License.
