ATC Loudspeakers SCM25A Pro Compact Active 3-Way Monitor - Single

I manage Blackbird Audio Rentals and would love to give a review based on personal use. Still, I can't because every A-List engineer and producer in town has the ATCs constantly booked and rented on their projects, so I never have them here to listen to.

These speakers are a dream come true. Immediately my work began to translate better. With my old set of monitors, I had to work at much higher volumes to get any sort of accuracy in the low end and top. But what makes these so special is that at any volume, every part of the spectrum is accurately represented. Punchy at any volume. Don't expect the fun, explosive bass response like PMC's, but the "holographic" auditory sensation that these provide is second to none. Quality like this will never be cheap, but it will always be worth it.

Not in a million years would I have ever dreamed I would spend south of 10k on a set of monitors for my project studio, but I did. To complete my new hybrid setup I took the plunge. A couple factors that went into my decision to choose these.
1) reading reviews, listening to what others have to say
2) the companies world wide reputation.
3) no imported parts, 100% manufactured in England
4) the sound, again the sound. When you sit down in the sweet spot, and these speakers are coming at you, you will feel like you have died and gone to heaven. The level of detail is very difficult to describe,
5) no DSP or computer assisted processing, just raw analog audio.
The perfect companion for my new NEVE 8424.

The listening field is amazingly transparent, like you don’t feel like the sound is coming from speakers. The accuracy and detail of what I hear while working really enables me to make quick and accurate decisions. VK was incredibly helpful getting me going.

Excellent speakers!!! Full range with great detail across the freq spectrum. Very happy and satisfied with these speakers.

These speakers are life changing. They make music more fun and brutally revealing than it’s ever been. Mixing and producing on them is a joy, 10/10 would recommend anyone pick these up. It’ll be the best purchase you make.

Detail like I’ve never heard before. Excellent choice for my mix room.
