API MC531 Desktop Monitor Controller

The API MC531 Desktop Monitor Controller is a standalone version of the center section of API’s legendary analog consoles. Anyone familiar with an API console will immediately recognize the layout and functionality of the MC531. Equipped with the exact same circuitry and level of craftsmanship found in all API consoles, the MC531 Monitor Controller combines studio-grade components with versatile new features tailor-made for working in the box.

Featuring one main stereo output, plus two alternative stereo outputs with individual trim controls for precise level-matching, the MC531 supports up to three pairs of studio monitors. Plus, with a dedicated sub output and front panel controls, you can quickly toggle your subwoofer on and off while mixing. You can even link your subwoofer to any of the outputs so it automatically activates when selecting the desired monitors.

In addition to three analog line-level inputs, the MC531 sports AES, USB, 3.5mm, and Bluetooth inputs, making it easy to monitor signals from almost any source. Two headphone outputs with dedicated level controls are perfect for referencing mixes with your favorite headphones. Plus, a built-in Talkback mic with independent gain controls enables you to communicate with performers while tracking and overdubbing—without having to set up a separate mic.
