Ampex ATR 104 1/2-in 4 Track Tape Deck #SS (Vintage)

Includes 4 speed padnets, locator & pedestal. Machine was purchased new in Dec 1981 for $7200. One of Sunset Sounds lowest used ATR’s due to the fact it was set up mostly as a 4 track (along with low use on these heads, never lapped due to low usage), although it can be used as a ½’ 2 track if 1/2" stack is purchased. Unit is fully checked out, recapped and in perfect working order. Has all original Ampex update mods and added spooling speed switch. No manual.
