A stereo condenser microphone for all professional studio purposes.

The microphone head is divided into an upper and lower half. the upper part can be turned by 270 degrees, while the lower one is stationary to suit different stereo base angles. Each of the two halves contains a large double diaphragm condenser capsule CK 12.

In relation to the shaft, the microphone head can be swiveled 45 degrees, permitting a quick change from MS to XY stereo techniques, when the microphone is mounted in a fixed position on the stand adapter or suspension ring.

Aiming at sound sources in concert halls and studios, especially when the microphone is not easily accessible, is facilitated by a narrow beam LED in front of each microphone capsule. These LEDs are powered from a remote control unit S 42 E, either by a conventional or a rechargeable 9v battery. A trickle charge circuit (from phantom power source) is built in.

The microphone shaft contains two low noise FET pre-amplifiers with extremely high input impedances. Both channels may be pre-attenuated by 0, 10 and 20 dB by means of a built-in switch. Three basic polar patterns (omni, cardioid, and figure-of-eight) and six intermediate positions may be set for each channel on the remote control unit.
