AKG C30A #1268 (Vintage) – No Longer Available

The Beatles' stage microphone of choice

Product Description

Very clean example of this mic. Comes with CK1 cardioid capsule, VR-2 long extension neck, and original stand adapter.

A must for every mic closet! Very versatile and detailed sounding. Great on snare / hat / acoustic guitars. These mics have nice high end, with excellent low end body, while not being tubby sounding.

The AKG C30A is essentially a C28 with a long extension neck, originally designed for stage use. This particular mic was formerly used by Associated TeleVision Ltd in the UK as part of their broadcast equipment. This is the same vocal mic used by the Beatles in their famous rooftop performance at Apple studios in London, January 1969, parts of which were used for the Let It Be film and album.

I had two Grammy wins this year - Ray LaMontagne & Carolina Chocolate Drops. Both made with help from Vintage King!

In almost 20 years in Pro audio buying, never did I receive a unit so well packed and exactly as described. Works flawlessly. The whole process has been so smooth. I will never hesitate to do business with you guys in the future and will recommend you to everyone I know.

This was my first experience buying something from Vintage King (although I surf the "used" categories on the website frequently!), and, despite being on the other side of the world, I had absolutely no trouble and everything went very smoothly.
