PRECISION GERMAN ENGINEERING

The S2V is equipped with an all-new 7-inch Extended Linear Excursion (ELE) bass driver. Custom-designed for the S Series, ELE drivers offer extremely accurate audio reproduction, even at high levels. The S2V uses Adam Audio’s bass-reflex system to deliver a powerful, distortion-free low-end down to 35 Hz. A custom-tuned basket eliminates unwanted resonance and distortion, allowing the ELE bass driver to achieve unprecedented clarity and transparency. The newly-designed S-ART tweeter is the latest iteration of Adam Audio’s world-famous X-ART tweeter design. With a linear frequency response up to 50 kHz, the S-ART tweeter offers unparalleled clarity and definition. Featuring improved transient response and an advanced dynamic range, S-ART tweeters produce minimal distortion even at high SPLs. Combined with the newly designed HPS waveguide, the S2V offers a wide sweet spot and helps reduce early reflections.

Don’t let its compact size fool you—the S2V is capable of pumping out up to 120 dB SPL per pair! A 300 W Class D amplifier drives the woofer while a 50 W Class A/B amplifier pushes the S-ART tweeter.

S Series monitors are equipped with a high-performance DSP-powered crossover for optimum frequency response and an extended dynamic range. This powerful DSP engine also offers an array of options for in-room optimization, like an eight band parametric EQ, custom voicing presets, and limiter-based protection. Accessing DSP functions is fast and easy with the built-in USB port. Simply connect your S Series monitors to your computer and tweak settings using the free software interface. In addition to standard XLR inputs, S Series monitors offer digital AES3 inputs for added versatility and expansion options in the future.
