Hand-crafted at ADAM Audio’s lab in Berlin, the ADAM Audio A4V is the newest evolution of the AX series. Equipped with ADAM’s renowned X-ART tweeter and a new long-throw woofer made from Multi-Layer Mineral (MLM) fibers, the A4V delivers detailed sound with full-bodied highs, powerful low-end and minimal distortion. Plus, A Series studio monitors feature onboard DSP, making it easy to set up and calibrate your speakers in any environment.

A4V DRIVERS & FREQUENCY RESPONSE

Made popular by AX Series studio monitors, ADAM’s X-ART tweeter provides a precise transient response and a silky top end that extends all the way up to 42 kHz. A Series monitors also feature ADAM’s new Rotatable HPS Waveguide, which means the A4V can be laid horizontally or vertically with minimal change in sound quality. The A4V utilizes a 4” MLM woofer, constructed with a unique blend of mineral stone fibers for a sturdy, lightweight design. These new drivers are capable of producing high power output with minimal distortion, making for a clean low-end down to 53 Hz.

DUAL AMPLIFICATION

When it comes to amplification, A Series monitors offer the best of both worlds. In the A4V, the woofers are driven by a 110W Class D amplifier, which is extremely efficient and helps reduce distortion. The tweeters and midrange drivers are powered by a 20W Class AB amplifier, which offers a smooth, natural reproduction of high frequencies.

A SOLUTION FOR EVERY SPACE

The A4V was designed for small rooms and multi-speaker configurations. Four bands of equalization offer more than 100 unique tuning options to help compensate for the typical acoustic problems that arise from speaker placement.  And with A Control software, you can even create a custom 6-band EQ setting and calibrate each of your ADAM Audio speakers remotely. Ideal for anyone who is unable to acoustically treat their workspace, the A4V offers automated calibration through the A Control software, thanks to a collaboration with industry leader Sonarworks.
