The main component of the system is ADAM's A7V 7" 2-way active studio monitor, eight of which are used for the surround and overhead channels. Three A77H 7" powered speakers provide left/center/right channels. A pair of Sub12 active studio subwoofers round out the package to handle LFE.

Dolby Atmos naming taxonomy is structured as follows: Standard Channels.LFE (Low Frequency Effects) Channels.Overhead Channels. So, for example, a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos system consists of seven standard channels (left front, center, right front, left side surround [Lss], right side surround [Rss], left rear surround [Lrs] and right rear surround [Rrs]), one LFE channel, and four overhead channels. Equipped with ADAM’s renowned X-ART tweeter and a new long-throw woofer made from Multi-Layer Mineral (MLM) fibers, the A4V delivers detailed sound with full-bodied highs, powerful low-end and minimal distortion. Plus, A Series studio monitors feature onboard DSP, making it easy to set up and calibrate your speakers in any environment.

The Sub12 is powerful 12-inch subwoofer designed for use with near or midfield monitoring systems. With a sturdy woofer, an extended cone, and a rugged voice coil, Sub12 subwoofers offer an extended frequency response down to 22 Hz. Equipped with a 300 W PWM amplifier, Sub12 is so loud you’ll swear the kick drum is actually kicking you in the chest.
