  • Product Description

The EMI TG12412 filter units were first used on EMI mastering desks in conjunction with the famous TG12412 equalizer. Each unit includes High pass, Low pass and Presence controls as well as the MK IV TG line amp.
    • High pass - 40, 60, 80, 100 Hz at 18db/octave
    • Presence- .5, .8, 1.2, 1.8, 2.8, 4.2, 6.5, and 10 kHz with +/-10 of boost and cut in 1db steps.
    • Low pass - 8, 10, 12, 15, 20 8 kHz at 18db/octave

These are sweet and musical sounding. Discrete, early 70s units from EMI, with the same EQ points as the famous TG12345 console used to record the Beatles Abbey Road and Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon. The eight frequencies of the Presence control are about the same shape as the medium setting on the TG12412 Mastering Equalizer, and the unit incorporates the same line amp used on the TG12345.

Great on vocals, guitars, snares, piano, acoustics, etc.
