Our Nashville Team

Josh Gleave

With an extensive studio and sales background, particularly focused in the Nashville area, Chad Evans joins Vintage King's Nashville team as a key Sales Consultant. Before becoming part of the Vintage King family, Chad enjoyed a 10-year career where he forged relationships with thousands of clients and oversaw countless new studios transition from being just ideas to becoming full-blown facilities. His clients continually note Chad's willingness to go the extra mile, earning their confidence for his relentless energy and commitment to exceeding expectations.

Chad is excited about joining Vintage King in Nashville, where he can serve those in the industry trenches, while connecting with a company-wide network of passionate musicians and self-professed gearheads. He seamlessly fits into our culture, too, with a heart for technology and degrees in recording from Middle Tennessee State University and the School of Recording Engineering in Nashville. In fact, before transitioning to sales, he made significant contributions in the studio at Masterfonics in Nashville, working on sessions with King Crimson, Sheryl Crow, Rascal Flatts, and the Dixie Chicks as a Staff Engineer. Still, Chad stays busy as a musician, too, keeping up his chops as a first-rate percussionist and demonstrating his well-earned Bachelor's in Percussion Performance from the elite Crane School of Music in Potsdam, New York.

Chad Q & A

What is your favorite piece of gear?

Moog Voyager.

What piece of gear do you think changed history?

History? That's a tough one! I'd have to say Thomas Edison's Phonograph changed the world.

What made you want to join VK?

First off, Vintage King truly is a family. I love the fact that everybody here is very passionate about what they do and it shows in every part of the company. It's all very inspiring!
