At age 13, Thomas Barefoot taught himself how to build guitars and amps using salvaged parts from around the neighborhood. Years later the engineer/physicist set his sights on creating a cost-effective, technologically advanced speaker which transcends the need for multiple types of monitors. The result is Barefoot Sound's MicroMain27, which has turned the industry upside down. Proving himself again with the MicroMain35, MiniMain12 and most recently the MicroMain45, Barefoot has shown his brand is at the forefront of studio monitor development.
Last, but not least, Peter Reardon has overseen Shadow Hills Industries creation of high quality discrete audio paths, unique controls and incredible military aesthetics. From GAMA mic preamps and summing/monitor controllers like the Equinox to the Dual Vandergraph and Mastering Compressor, Peter and Shadow Hills create hardware that lets engineers truly latch onto the content of their recordings.
