The <B>AL.SO Dynax<sup>2</sup> (Dynax Square)</B> is more than an ordinary compressor, it is designed as a Dynamic Sound Shaper, a creative tool meant for the creative sound engineers.<BR><BR> Conceived around very low distorsion circuits, the Dynax2 allows for a wide range of effects, starting with the smoothest and most transparent compression, and going to the harshest and most spectacular sound designs. Both "attack" and "release" knobs permit a graduated change of values to reshape the sound and create a new envelope.<BR><BR> The Dynax Square offers three different compression curves :<UL> <LI> Limiter (10:1) ; <LI> Brickwall ; <LI> AntiDyna (an innovative new mode designed by Olivier Bolling which literally "over-limits" the sound in a "funky-to-trashy" way).

The <B>AL.SO Modual Series M<sup>2</sup>U's</B> monitoring section lets you choose both source and level to your loudspeakers (connected on the rear connectors). <BR><BR><B>Source for monitoring:</B><UL> <LI>Mix : internal wiring from M2M or M2U or from front panel DB25 connector input ; <LI>Ext : any two tracks source from front panel DB25 connector (typically these days : any MP3 player) ; <LI> Cue : signal feeding the cue section of the module. <LI>Mono switch.</UL> <BR><BR> Cues section: permits to send a balance between the mix input (internal or DB25 connection) and an auxiliary input (on front panel DB25 connector) to an external headphone amplifier. This section output appear on the front panel DB25 connector (see wiring diagram). For example during a recording session, you can use the auxiliary input for a vocal processor return to adjust quickly and efficiently the balance betwen the mix level and the vocal reverb for a vocalist performance. Talkback mic to cues. <BR><BR> Embedded headphone section. Cue / Mon selector :<br> - Cue mode (performer mode) miror the cues section output into the internal headphone amp (including talkback) ; - Monitor mode (engineer mode) mirror the monitor section output into the internal headphone amp (including talkback).
